Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and meticulous Housekeeper to join our existing household team at a family's secondary residence in Locust Valley, Long Island. Working under the direction of the Head Housekeeper, this position involves maintaining a 15,000 sq. ft. home while the family (two adults, four children, and three dogs) spends weekends and summers at the property. The ideal candidate will have prior housekeeping experience in a high-net-worth setting, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work discreetly and professionally. Required Skills:
The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning, dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming throughout the residence, as well as assisting with family laundry and ironing. Additional duties include inventory management to ensure supplies are well-stocked and organized. Periodic domestic travel to other family properties will be required to help with setup. The position requires a valid driver's license, ideally 3+ years of experience in a similar role, and the ability to provide at least two professional references. Schedule is Thursday-Monday, 8AM-4:30PM, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. The successful candidate will be warm, quiet, polite, able to work both independently and as part of a team, and willing to undergo a background check upon contingent offer of hire.
