Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Residential Maintenance Technician to support high-end private residences in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, La Jolla, and Point Loma. This long-term position requires a candidate with 2+ years of luxury residential construction experience, fluency in English (Spanish is a plus), strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, basic computer proficiency, and their own tools. Work hours are typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed. Compensation ranges from $33-35/hour with comprehensive benefits including 401K, two weeks paid vacation, 10 paid holidays, and medical/dental insurance.

Required Skills:
The position involves comprehensive construction, repair, and maintenance support across multiple properties, including carpentry tasks from rough framing to finish trim work, door and window adjustments, cabinet repairs, and working with various materials such as wood, plastic, drywall, concrete, and stucco. Additional responsibilities include minor plumbing and electrical work, drywall and plaster installation and repair, interior and exterior painting, irrigation system maintenance, water intrusion remediation, minor demolition, trenching and excavation work, and proper use of pneumatic, electric, and hand tools. The technician must maintain job site safety standards, work safely on roofs, ladders, scaffolding and in confined spaces, assist subcontractors with dust containment and scheduling considerations, and maintain positive professional relationships with homeowners, project managers, estate managers, and team members while ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards expected in luxury residential settings.
