Summary:
A distinguished San Diego family with four young children (all under age five) is seeking a dedicated, warm-hearted Nanny to become an integral part of their household staff. This is an ideal opportunity for a passionate childcare professional with early childhood education training who desires a meaningful, long-term role within a faith-centered home. The family places tremendous value on creating a nurturing environment rooted in strong morals and traditional principles, and they're looking for someone whose gentle presence and collaborative spirit will complement their existing team of nannies. For the right candidate, the family is pleased to offer relocation support to San Diego.
Required Skills:
As a valued member of this nanny team, you'll partner closely with Mom to deliver exceptional care that reflects the family's commitment to raising their children with purpose and intention. Your day-to-day focus will include creating enriching, developmentally appropriate experiences, fostering early literacy skills, and skillfully navigating behavioral challenges through evidence-based approaches. Strong competency in redirection methodology, positive reinforcement, and choice strategies is essential, as you'll be expected to thoughtfully manage attention-seeking behaviors while nurturing each child's emotional growth. Qualified candidates will have a degree or substantial coursework in Early Childhood Education, hands-on experience caring for multiples, swimming proficiency and availability to accompany the family on both domestic and international trips. This role demands complete schedule flexibility to accommodate double coverage and varying shift arrangements, along with unwavering professionalism, proactive problem-solving, appropriate boundaries, and a heart for service. The family is seeking someone who respects that their vision for their children's upbringing guides all care decisions and who thrives as a team player committed to maintaining a consistent, loving, faith-based household culture.
