This warm and busy family is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Housekeeper to oversee the day-to-day cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of their large private residence and surrounding property. The role is primarily focused on comprehensive housekeeping and laundry responsibilities, ensuring the home remains consistently clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times. The property includes an 8,000-square-foot home situated on 1.6 acres with additional spaces including a carriage house, pool, and outdoor entertaining areas. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable working in an evolving household environment, as upcoming kitchen and pool house renovations will temporarily impact the home. In addition to housekeeping, the role may include occasional errands, grocery organization, and light assistance supporting the overall smooth operation of the household.

Required Skills:
Extensive experience with detailed housekeeping in large private homes, including deep cleaning, laundry management, garment steaming, organization, and maintaining high household standards. Responsibilities include managing approximately 12–13 loads of laundry weekly, coordinating dry cleaning, tidying and organizing household spaces, maintaining outdoor areas such as poolside spaces and dining areas, watering plants, and assisting with basic pet care for two cats. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable managing cleaning-related vendors, scheduling services, handling occasional errands, unpacking grocery deliveries, and occasionally preparing simple meals for the children when needed. Candidates should be professional, efficient, self-motivated, and able to work independently while anticipating household needs and maintaining discretion and flexibility.
