A lovely and down to earth (yet sophisticated) family of four in Washington, D.C. is seeking a dedicated and professional live-out Housekeeper/Cook to become an integral part of their household. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced domestic professional to join a warm, family-oriented environment where they value long-term relationships and treat their staff as extended family members. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual who embodies a calm demeanor with a quiet sense of urgency when needed, demonstrates a proactive can-do attitude, and is adaptable and easily trainable. Previous experience working in formal households is strongly preferred, and the ability to travel to the family's other residences would be a valuable asset.

Required Skills:
The position encompasses full-charge housekeeping responsibilities including laundry and light ironing, maintaining household inventory, and ensuring all areas of the home are impeccably maintained. Culinary duties include cooking or meal prepping 1-2 meals per day or weekly meal preparation, grocery shopping, and proper table service and setting. Additional responsibilities include running various errands, occasionally transporting the children to activities, providing some pet care for the family's sweet Labrador, and may occasionally assist with light child care tasks for their adorable children. A valid driver's license is preferred, and candidates must be comfortable working around both children and pets. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM with flexibility to work longer hours as business needs require. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
