This is a rare opportunity for a consummate professional with superior leadership skills, an early childhood education background, and a warm, kind demeanor to step into a head of childcare role. The ideal candidate is someone who has successfully managed staff, coordinated schedules and activities, and leads with grace and positivity. The family values faith-based learning, traditional family structures, and is committed to providing their children with the very best care and education. Relocation assistance is available for the perfect candidate who wishes to join this loving household long-term.
Required Skills:
The Lead Nanny will work collaboratively with Mom and a team of nannies to implement the family's vision for raising their children with strong values, morals, and faith-based principles. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the childcare team, managing schedules (including double coverage and split days), implementing early literacy programs, and expertly applying positive discipline techniques. Candidates must have deep knowledge and proven experience with redirection methodology, positive reinforcement, and choice strategies to effectively manage any behaviors and guide the children's development. The ideal candidate must hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, have experience with multiples, be a strong swimmer (gated pool on property), and be available for domestic and international travel. Spanish fluency is a bonus. This role requires full scheduling flexibility, impeccable professionalism, forward-thinking problem-solving abilities, clear boundaries, and a genuine service mindset. The family seeks someone who understands that their parenting philosophy is paramount and who will work as a true team member to create a nurturing, structured and well rounded environment where their children can thrive.
