Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, full-time housekeeper for a busy, down-to-earth repeat family based in Point Loma. While this is a luxury private estate, it is first and foremost a warm, active, and well-loved family home. The role covers three residences: the family's primary 12,000-square-foot estate (three days per week), and two additional family-owned Point Loma residences of approximately 4,200 square feet and 2,800 square feet, each serviced weekly. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced, longtime housekeeper who has become an important part of the family, and who is excited to welcome and partner with someone who shares her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to keeping the homes running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, detail-oriented housekeeper seeking longevity and interested in joining a close-knit, established team that values service, teamwork, and mutual respect.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate has experience in large private homes, luxury residences, estates, boutique hospitality, or similar service-focused settings, and is comfortable caring for highly detailed residences, managing multiple projects and priorities, moving between properties throughout the week, and caring for fine furnishings, artwork, and specialty finishes. Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all living spaces; detailed cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and common areas; laundering and refreshing linens; floor care and seasonal deep-cleaning projects; maintaining household supplies; identifying and communicating maintenance concerns; and working closely with the existing housekeeper to ensure consistency across all residences. Candidates should have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, be authorized to work in the United States, and be able to pass a background check and maintain strict confidentiality and discretion. The family offers a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan with employer contributions, generous paid time off and holidays, and a long-term opportunity with a respectful, appreciative family.
