Summary:
We are currently hiring a ROTA nanny for a unique schedule of one week on and one week off. This role provides nurturing, engaging, and developmentally supportive care for two young children and the family’s friendly dog. This is an opportunity to join a fully staffed household and become a valued member of a collaborative and professional care team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of professional nanny experience, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and demonstrate flexibility with scheduling to accommodate the rotating ROTA structure. A background in education, Montessori, or early childhood education is highly desirable, as the family values learning-based, child-centered care.

Required Skills:
Candidates should have experience caring for multiple children simultaneously and possess a strong understanding of developmental stages, allowing them to create enriching, age-appropriate activities that foster creativity, independence, and emotional growth. The role emphasizes intentional engagement, consistency, and structure, while always prioritizing the children’s safety and well-being. This position requires comfort working collaboratively with other household staff, using redirection methodology, positive reinforcement, and choice-based strategies to support healthy development and maintain a calm, respectful environment. Responsibilities also include light housekeeping related to the children, along with occasional care for the family dog.
