Summary:
We're seeking a skilled Residential Maintenance Technician to support high-end private residences in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, La Jolla, and Point Loma. This role assists with the construction, repair, and maintenance of luxury properties, covering everything from rough and finish carpentry to minor plumbing and electrical work, drywall and plaster repair, painting, irrigation repair, and trenching and cleanup. The ideal candidate has experience in luxury residential settings, is fluent in English (Spanish is a plus), and brings strong interpersonal skills along with an interest in a long term position. A General Contractor License is a big plus!

Required Skills:
Day to day responsibilities include carpentry tasks such as door, window, and cabinet adjustment and repair, working with materials like wood, drywall, stucco, and concrete, and using pneumatic, electric, and hand tools safely and efficiently. The technician will install and patch drywall and plaster, perform minor demolition, handle basic water intrusion remediation, complete interior and exterior painting, and assist subcontractors while maintaining job site safety and cleanliness. Qualifications include a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, at least two years of high end residential construction experience, the ability to pass toxicology and background checks, and comfort working on roofs, ladders, scaffolding, and in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces. The typical schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work as needed.
